Hello, Scout Leaders and fellow Scouters,

Saturday, January 14th, held the annual Scouting Competition Snowstorm in Roscoe, IL. Close to 100 people were in attendance, including at least 60 scouts from 7 different units. Scouts competed in various events, including Snowshoeing, Tug-o-war, Orienteering, and even a “Snow Sculpture.”

BSA Troop 93 from New Berlin, WI, won the BSA/Co-Ed Division and overall Land events. Girl Scout unit 2257 from Oconomowoc, WI, took first place in the GSUSA Division and outpaced Troop 93 to win the head-to-head Overall Competition for the day.

Congratulations to both units!

Please join us in congratulating these units on a well-done job.

Hopefully, we’ll see you and your units to try your luck in taking down these champions at the next area Scouting Competitions.
